An IRC joke gone wrong. If you're prone to seizures, do not enter the Konami code. And press space slowly, I guess.

If the viewport's too small, the box may just say "press". It means to say "press space".

This is the objectively superior HTML5 version. For the inferior Unity version made by the person who originally made the joke, see https://darkevilmac.itch.io/deep.

You can play the classic version, which is identical to the Unity version, at https://unascribed.com/deepclassic.html.

Your current angle saves to local storage, so you can spin some, leave, and spin again later. Assuming your browser doesn't eat your save file.

A couple issues: (1) it says "tap" for me, even though I'm on a desktop computer and clicking doesn't seem to do anything; (2) I have to press space to interact with it, but pressing space also scrolls the page down (should cancel the default action, or use a different key)

I do iffy detection to decide to say "press space" or "tap". If you have a touch device connected, even if you don't use it, it'll probably say "tap".

If the iframe is focused, it shouldn't scroll. The game was designed to be played on a standalone webpage, though, hence the issue.

Hi, Chri

I found your random word maker-upper, and wanted to use it for something.  I couldn't find a way to contact you on your website, so found you here.

The use is a good one (i think, obviously), and i'd like to discuss it with you.  Not sure what form of contact would be comfortable for you.  I haven't been on twitter in a bit, but i'm @PMPROFL and will monitor it for a message.  Or get brave and tweet you.
